HOW DOES IT WORK?
Topical anaesthetic is applied to the skin for 30 minutes prior to treatment. This ensures minimal discomfort and you may experience a friction sensation during the treatment.
Key active products are then applied to the skin while the microneedling is done to allow good penetration.
The skin is then soothed with a cooling mask followed by a protectant topical cream.
Over the following weeks and months the skin will produce collagen and elastin to renew the skin.
The number of treatments and intervals between will depend on the area of concern. On average sessions are done every 4 weeks, and 3-6 treatments are needed for optimal results. For general skin rejuvenation treatments should be done twice a year.
HOW TO PREPARE YOUR SKIN
Maintain a good skincare routine for at least 2 weeks before your procedure. This includes twice a day cleansing, moisturising and sun protection everyday.
Skincare products containing active ingredients need to be stopped 3 days before your procedure, please check this with us beforehand.
